The Mission Statement of St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church
St. Peter Prince of the Apostles Catholic Church is a dynamic, inviting, and spiritually enriching inner-city parish community. We recognize the call of the Gospel to be a hospitable people, open and eager to welcome into our midst and into our ministries the many people who are part of our diverse community. By developing an interdependence on one another, rooted in a common love of Christ, we seek a unity that is respectful, affirming, and supportive of one another.
Having put God first in our lives, we acknowledge our membership in the Body of Christ. By encouraging and nurturing Christian stewardship, we are joyfully building the kingdom of God in gratitude for all that God has given us.
We are called to fully, actively, and consciously celebrate our faith. As a parish we commit ourselves to be an active and living presence of Christ to one another and to the community that surrounds us.
