FAITH FORMATION: 

Faith Formation classes are held on Sunday mornings from late September through April.  Registration begins in August of each year.  Please contact the Faith Formation office at 822-1605 or

ALTAR SERVERS:

Children interested in becoming Altar Servers must be in the 2nd semester of the 4th grade or older.  They must also have received the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion.

SACRAMENTS:

CONFIRMATION:  Classes for Confirmation will begin in September 2013.  

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:  Second grade is soonest a child can be prepared to receive Holy Communion.  To be eligible for preparation, students must have been enrolled in a Religious Education program or in a Catholic School the previous school year (2012-2013).

YOUTH MINISTRY: 

The Holy Ground Cafe for all high school students meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. in the Mark & Luke Room.  Contact Deacon Rich de Hoyos at 822-3367 for more information.

Teen ACTS Retreat

The Teen ACTS Retreat will be July 18-21, 2013 for incoming sophomores to outgoing seniors. For more information contact Deacon Rich de Hoyos at 822-3367.

Great Adventure Bible Study - is held on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm.  New studies normally begin in October and January.

Senior Luncheon, (Fellowship Luncheon) - Fun, Fellowship, Bingo with prizes, great food and a guest speaker!  The first Monday of the month @ 11:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall.  The Fellowship Luncheon  will be in September 2013.

Ladies Prayer Group - The first Friday of every month @ 10:00 a.m. in the Mark & Luke Room.

Child Lures Preventive Training...Attention all teachers, catechists, parents, volunteers, coaches, etc. The next Child Lures Workshop is scheduled for Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. in the St. Peter's Parish Hall.  The Archdiocese of San Antonio requires that everyone who works with children attend a Child Lures Workshop every three years.  Workshops are generally scheduled in June and October.  If you are planning on working or volunteering your time with children in the summer months or during school year, this workshop is a must.  There is no cost to attend.   For more information about the Child Lures Workshop please call the Faith Formation Office at 822-1605.
