It is the mission of the Ministry to provide a way for those with the gift of music, especially the young, to serve our Lord and our community of faith as we come together to celebrate the core "the summit" of our faith life in the Liturgy of the Eucharist.

Taizé is a tiny village hidden away in the hills of Burgundy, France.  Since 1040 it has been the home of an ecumenical community of brothers whose prayer, three times each day, is at the center of their life.  Taizé’s vocation is to strive for communion among all.

The two most common times of prayer for Christians are morning and evening.  Traditionally they were called Lauds (Morning Prayer) and Vespers (Evening Prayer).
